Kevin Cusimano to lead technology strategy for City of Carmel
CARMEL, Ind., Dec. 5, 2024 - An information technology leader with extensive experience in supporting strategic business and technology goals has been named chief information officer for the City of Carmel, Zac Jackson, chief financial officer and controller, announced today.
Kevin Cusimano will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing the city’s technology initiatives, directing and planning enterprise technology system in support of city operations.
With additional experiences in data analytics and governance, Cusimano served in multiple technology leadership roles in health care and higher education, including his most recent position as an executive director with Indiana University Health.
“Kevin’s extensive experience and proven results position him to make important contributions to the city in this key role,” Jackson said.
Cusimano will assume duties on Dec. 9.
"Technology is crucial to city planning and I am privileged to have this opportunity to support Carmel in building upon its strong infrastructure to support its business and residents,” Cusimano said.
Cusimano earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Indianapolis and a Master of Business Administration from Anderson University.
