WHAT: Ribbon cutting ceremony for a new AED station at the Monon Greenway Rohrer Road Trailhead

WHO: Join the City of Carmel, Carmel City Councilor Jeff Worrell and representatives from Orangetheory Fitness and Bolt for the Heart
DETAILS: An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is used to help those experiencing cardiac arrest and is a complex but easy-to-use medical device that can analyze the heart’s rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm. More AED stations will be added along Carmel’s trail network and at Carmel Clay Parks’ facilities and grounds. The funds to install this AED were donated by Orangetheory Fitness and Bolt for the Heart.
