Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation welcomes "Bison and Calf" There are two new "friends" at Central Park! Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) recently installed a sculpture by Dominic Benhura. Carved from a single massive serpentine stone using just a hammer and chisel, this five-ton sculpture symbolizes family and our connection to nature. "Bison and Calf", commissioned by CCPR and facilitated by Jayne During, owner of the Kuaba Gallery on Main Street, is the second piece of public art in Carmel by Benhura. "Swing Me Higher, Mama" was installed at the corner of Main Street and Veterans Way in 2022.
Visit CCPR's Facebook page for more photos.
