WHAT: Media images from the City of Carmel's Street renaming within the Midtown corridor to honor Carmel's 3 Olympians and Olympic Swim Coach. Images included are of Mayor Finkam, Alex Shackell, Aaron Shackell and Chris Plumb. Also included are images of the new Sun King Pint Glass created in honor of the Olympians.

DETAILS: This morning, Carmel residents Olympic swimmers Aaron and Alex Shackell, along with Carmel High School and newly-appointed Olympic Coach Chris Plumb, joined Mayor Sue Finkam for photos in Midtown Plaza. The Olympians were presented with street signs displaying their names, which will temporarily replace Monon Boulevard, Elm Street, First Street and Second Street until the Olympics have concluded. Swimmer Drew Kibler was not able to attend the media day but will have a street named for him.
The City has also partnered with Sun King to create commemorative pint glasses for SwimCity, USA. They are currently available at the Sun King located in Midtown Plaza.
