Mayor Finkam hosts all-team meeting for City employees, community partners
Last week, City of Carmel employees attended their first all-team meeting with Mayor Sue Finkam who communicated her mission, vision and expectations to cultivate a high-performance culture to better serve the community.
"It was vitally important to usher in our new administration with fellowship as we start to break down operational silos and reshape the relationship the Mayor of Carmel has with team members," said Mayor Finkam.
More than 650 City staff, members of the Carmel City Council and other community partners attended the two-hour meetings that took place over three days to accommodate the size of the groups.

Christian Chamberlain to assume deputy chief of staff role
Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam today announced that Christian Chamberlain will serve as deputy chief of staff for the City of Carmel, beginning February 19.
As deputy chief of staff, Chamberlain will support the day-to-day operations of the city, working alongside Jim Crider, chief of staff, to advance key initiatives.

Celebrate the Earth, through art
Carmel Green Initiative would like to invite students in grades kindergarten through eighth to enter the 2024 Earth Day Art Contest. Art entries will be displayed at several community exhibits to inspire our community to live more sustainably. All entries are due by no later than 5 p.m. on February 16.

Carmel Citizens Utility Academy - Spring 2024 Registration is open
Carmel Utilities is proud to present the Carmel Citizens Utility Academy, providing insight to the public on the responsibilities and operations of Water, Wastewater, Trash & Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Disposal services.
Spots are filling up quickly for the spring 2024 seven-week session that begins March 5 so be sure to register soon!
