CARMEL, IN - The holiday season has arrived in the City of Carmel as multiple local traditions are launched. Experience the holidays as they look in the movies with a visit to the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, a walk down the Magnificent Monon and an ice skating date at The Ice at Carter Green.
Find the perfect gifts for loved ones in local shops in the Carmel Arts & Design District along Main Street, in Midtown and at City Center. Prepare to visit with Santa during his tour through Carmel neighborhoods. Ride the Holiday Trolley from Main Street to Carter Green and around the central districts.

Fridays and Saturdays 11:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sundays 11:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
*Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Closes at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Holiday Trolley
November 24-25 and December 1 - 2, 8 - 9, 15 - 16, 22 - 23
Fridays 5 - 9 p.m.
Saturdays 2 - 9 p.m.
- Ride the festive Carmel Holiday Trolley as you shop unique, local boutiques and galleries in our Arts & Design District, Indiana Design Center, Midtown Plaza and City Center. Riders will receive free gifts and that warm glow that comes from knowing you have supported our local merchants.

Shop Small, Shop Carmel
Saturday, November 25
9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Shop Small is a global movement to support and celebrate small businesses. Participating businesses will have Shop Carmel swag bags to give away (while supplies last) along with a chance to win one of two $200 gift baskets, which will include items from select businesses. Santa Tours
November 26 - December 17
Sundays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Each tour time will be from 5 - 8 p.m.
- Santa will be making a return visit this holiday season to Carmel neighborhoods with more tours and more opportunities to see the Jolly Old Elf and his friends from the Carmel Fire, Police and Street departments.

- A beautiful outdoor walkway of seasonal lights and decorations from Carter Green to Main Street along the Magnificent Monon Greenway through the heart of our city.

Holiday in the Arts District
