Celebrating Carmel
Carmel, Westfield, Fishers ranked in top 10 'Best Small Cities' in America
Carmel (No. 1), Westfield (No. 4) and Fishers (No. 5) ranked in the top ten of WalletHub's study of the "Best Small Cities in America." More than 1,300 cities were included in the study with rankings based on five key criteria: 1) Affordability, 2) Economic Health, 3) Education and Health, 4) Quality of Life and 5) Safety. These dimensions were then measured across 45 "key metrics of livability."

New Palladiscope nightly hours starting tonight
Beginning tonight, Palladiscope will have its first show time of Eos: The First Dawn at 8:30 p.m. and will run every half hour with the final show beginning at 11 p.m. A new Palladiscope projection will debut soon and will play throughout the holiday season.

Road Construction updates
COLLEGE AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION - Utilities will soon begin working in the right-of-way on College Avenue with expected northbound lane restrictions from 96th Street to 106th Street. This work is expected to start before the end of the year with the majority of the reconstruction of College Avenue taking place throughout 2024.
3RD AVENUE SW RECONSTRUCTION - A traffic switch is expected to take place on Saturday, October 7 with access to Industrial Drive from the south via City Center Drive for the next month. The reconstruction of 3rd Avenue SW is expected to be completed during fall 2024, weather and utilities permitting.

Fall leaf and landscape waste removal
From October 16 to December 15, each Carmel Utilities/Republic Services customer home is allowed up to 20 bags/bundles (four feet or shorter bundles) of landscape waste pick up per week, free of charge.
