Ribbon cutting for newest AED station

Carmel to host ribbon cutting in Arts & Design District at Meet Me on Main

What: Ribbon cutting ceremony for a new AED station at the intersection of Main Street and Monon Greenway in the Carmel Arts & Design District.

Who: Join the City of Carmel, Carmel City Councilor Jeff Worrell and Carmel City Councilor Tim Hannon.

When: Saturday, December 10, at 5 p.m. during Allied Solutions' Meet Me on Main event.

Where: Main Street and Monon Greenway next to Anthony's Chophouse.

Details: An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is used to help those experiencing cardiac arrest and is a complex but easy-to-use medical device that can analyze the heart’s rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm. More AED stations will be added along Carmel’s trail network and at Carmel Clay Parks’ facilities and grounds.
