Duke Energy project will result in the closure of Main Street beginning March 1 at Veterans Way
Duke Energy’s ongoing project to bury transmission lines will result in the closure of Main Street at Veterans Way for up to a month beginning March 1. The utility project calls for the burial of lines under and then across Main Street where Muldoon’s and the Pint Room are located.
Main Street will remain open for parking, but there will be no vehicular through-traffic. Pedestrian access via sidewalks and crosswalks will remain open. Crosswalk locations may be adjusted throughout construction for pedestrian safety.
