Carmel Fire Department to distribute disposable face masks, hand sanitizer and COVID-19 safety and vaccination information at Kroger on Thursday
CARMEL, IN – The Carmel Fire Department has scheduled another COVID-19 information booth to hand out information on vaccination, virus prevention and safety and answer questions from the public. They will be offering free bottles of hand sanitizer and disposable face masks while supplies last. The type of masks being distributed are similar to what you would find in a doctor’s office waiting room.
CFD will be at Kroger, located at 1217 S. Range Line Road, on Thursday March 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The booth will be set up inside the foyer of the main entrance.
During the event, representatives from CFD will be wearing masks and keeping to the physical distancing guidance to avoid possible spread of the virus. The event is open to the public and visitors should also wear masks and maintain proper distance from others as they approach the booth.
The goal of this booth is to provide the community with COVID-19 information, including handouts showing the City of Carmel and Carmel Fire Department “Best Practices” for dealing with the virus.
Plans call for additional booths at other locations in the upcoming weeks. Those details will be announced as soon as possible.
