Liquor and Video Gaming Licenses Revoked for Global Brew Tap House
ST. CHARLES, Ill. (June 1, 2026) – Mayor Clint Hull, acting as Liquor Control Commissioner, enforced local liquor ordinances for VVAAMA Inc., doing business as Global Brew Tap House at the May 18, 2026, meeting of the St. Charles Liquor Control Commission. The Commission considers alcohol, tobacco, and massage license issues.
Global Brew Tap House, located at 2100 Prairie Street, was cited on April 10, 2026, for the following municipal ordinance violations:
Count I: Failure to timely file tax returns and remit the City alcohol tax for the following periods:
Count II: Failure to timely pay late fees associated with unpaid alcohol taxes for August 2025, September 2025, October 2025, November 2026, December 2025, January 2026, and February 2026.
Count III: Unpermitted Construction and Code Violations – Illegal buildout of a kitchen and installation of commercial kitchen equipment without first obtaining the required permit.
The initial hearing took place during the April 20, 2026, Liquor Control Commission meeting. The licensee appeared before the Liquor Control Commission and requested a continuance to May 18, 2026, which was granted by the Liquor Control Commission. On May 18, 2026, the licensee failed to appear for the hearing, failed to file an Answer, respond to the Compliant, or provide a completed Arraignment form. After entering a default judgement against the Licensee, the Liquor Control Commission heard and considered mitigating factors and moved forward with the license revocation.
