ST. CHARLES, Ill. (Oct. 16, 2024) – The annual St. Charles Veterans Day Ceremony will be held Nov. 11, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., in Fire Station 1, 112 N. Riverside Ave. Join us to show your appreciation for our country’s veterans.
The ceremony will include singing of the National Anthem, followed by invocation, remarks, gun salute, and Taps performance.
“On Veterans Day we gather as a community to say ‘thank you’ to our veterans for their selfless service to our country,” said Mayor Lora Vitek. “We hope to see a big crowd again this year.”
At the City of St. Charles, nearly 10% of our workforce is veterans. The City has been recognized consistently by the U.S. Department of Labor with a Gold Medallion in the HIRE Vets program.
