American Legion Donation Drive The American Legion is hosting a paper products donation drive this Saturday, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The donation drive benefits veterans residing at Hope Manor, a supportive housing development for veterans in Joliet. The community is invited to drop off paper products (including toilet paper, paper towels, and disinfecting wipes) at the Legion, 24741 W. Renwick Road. Meeting Information -The Village Board has a meeting on March 1. To view the agenda, click here. Public comments can be e-mailed to the Village through March 1 at 3 p.m. (Please note Public Comments in the e-mail subject line.) -All Village Board Meetings are streamed live on the Village web site (click In Progress when available) and broadcast on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.
COVID-19 Information -The Will County Health Department is asking residents that are interested in getting the COVID-19 vaccine to register via this link. After completing the form, the Health Department will contact you with information on how to schedule your appointment when the vaccine becomes available to your subgroup. -Kendall County has launched a Vaccine Appointment Portal and they are accepting appointments for phases 1A & 1B. For more information, visit the Kendall County Health Department web site. -Will County is in Phase 4 of the State’s Restore Illinois Plan. When outside your home, please wear a mask and socially distance.
