Election Filing Notice
The Office of the Village Clerk will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 14 through December 21, 2020, to accept candidate petitions for the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2021. For more information, click here. |

Meeting Information
The Village Board has a workshop on December 14. To view the agenda, click here. Public Comments can be e-mailed to the Village through December 14 at 3 p.m. (Please note Public Comments in the e-mail subject line.) All Village Board Meetings are streamed live on the Village web site (click In Progress when available) and broadcast on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.
Mobile Food Pantry
The Northern Illinois Food Bank will hold a Mobile Food Pantry at St. Mary Immaculate Parish, 15629 Route 59, on December 16, from 5-6:30 p.m. Food is free to low income neighbors in need and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
Unemployment Fraud
If you are a victim of unemployment fraud, please contact the Illinois Department of Employment Security to file a report. For more information, click here.
HHW & Electronics Disposal
To dispose of electronics (e.g. computers, printers, televisions) and household hazardous waste (including paint and household cleaners) contact Waste Management’s At Your Door Special Collection. Holiday Reminders
Happy Holidays! The Village Offices will be closed December 24-25, 2020 and January 1, 2021. These holidays will not change your refuse collection day.
