Operation Care Package Donation Drive This Weekend The Plainfield American Legion is participating in Operation Care Package. Help fill holiday packages for deployed service members by donating at the Plainfield Library or American Legion. For donation ideas, visit operationcarepackages.com. The Legion is holding a drive-thru donation drive this Saturday, October 10, from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. For details, click here.
New Drop Box Available at Public Works Building permits, contractor registration forms, payments (checks only please), and documents for Public Works, Code Enforcement, and Engineering can now be conveniently dropped off 24/7 at Public Works, 14400 Coil Plus Drive. Mobile Food Pantry The Northern Illinois Food Bank will be holding a Mobile Food Pantry at St. Mary Immaculate Parish, 15629 Route 59, on October 13, from 5-6:30 p.m. Food is free to low- income neighbors in need and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
Coffee with the Mayor The October 14 Coffee with the Mayor has been cancelled. Be sure to check the Village's social media pages next week for Mayor Collins' new Coffee video with Chief Stratton and Fire Marshal Ludemann from the Plainfield Fire Protection District.

Early Voting The Will County Clerk’s Office will offer early voting at the Village Hall, Monday-Friday, from October 19-30. Voting hours will be 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information on Will County early voting locations, days, and times, please visit thewillcountyclerk.com. Kendall County residents interested in voting early should visit co.kendall.il.us.
Vote By Mail Ballot Drop Box The Plainfield Library is a Will County Vote By Mail Ballot Drop Box location. Once you have completed your Vote By Mail ballot, bring it to the Library and drop it in the box at the top of the entryway stairs. The last day to return ballots is Monday, November 2. The Library is open, Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday-Saturday. For more info, click here.
