Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
PPD Incident #26-67365
(PEORIA, IL) On Monday, September 14, 2026, at approximately 3:24 p.m., Peoria Police Department officers responded to the 700 block of E. Nebraska Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert indicating four rounds had been fired.
Officers arrived and located no victims. During the investigation, officers identified 18-year-old Kebron J. Wilson as the suspected shooter. Wilson was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
Wilson was arrested for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Firearm Without a Valid FOID Card, and Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition Without a FOID Card.
Wilson was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
