Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon
PPD Incident #26-67044
(PEORIA, IL) On Sunday, September 13, 2026, at approximately 1:49 p.m., Peoria Police officers responded to a report of shots fired inside a residence in the 600 block of NE Monroe Street.
Upon arrival, officers learned a shotgun had been discharged inside the residence by the resident. No injuries were reported.
During a search of the residence, officers located and seized a disassembled shotgun.
35-year-old Cody M. Arbuckle was taken into custody without incident and arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm Without a FOID Card.
Arbuckle was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
