Drug Arrest
PPD Incident #26-57124
(PEORIA, IL) On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers with the Peoria Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Victoria and Gilbert.
During the traffic stop, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle.
During the search, officers located illegal drugs, drug equipment and U.S. currency inside.
The driver, identified as 54-year-old Marcus Q. Lowmack, was taken into custody without incident.
Lowmack was subsequently arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, and multiple traffic violations.
Lowmack was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
