Stabbing
PPD Incident #26-48358
(PEORIA, IL) On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at approximately 12:49 p.m., officers with the Peoria Police Department responded to the 2900 block of W. Wiswall on a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from a minor stab wound to the shoulder. The victim was treated at the scene by the Peoria Fire Department and Advanced Medical Transport (AMT).
During the investigation, officers obtained a description of the suspect. A short time later, officers observed an individual matching that description in the area of W. Ann Street and S. Manual Avenue. The suspect, a 13-year-old male, was taken into custody without incident.
Following the investigation, the juvenile was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery and transported to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center.
