Monday, July 13, 2026, Peoria Police responded to an address in the 500 blk of E Seneca to check the welfare of an occupant. Responding officers located an adult male body inside of the residence.
Due to the suspicious nature of the scene, a homicide investigation is underway.
Cause and manner of death are pending autopsy results. Information regarding the identity of the victim will be released by the Peoria County Coroner.
