ATM Burglary
PPD Incident #26- 48001
(PEORIA, IL) On Monday, July 13, 2026, at approximately 3:38 a.m., officers with the Peoria Police Department were called to the 4700 block of N. University (Peoria Community Bank) on a burglary alarm.
When police arrived, they observed an ATM at the business had heavy damage and chains around the area of the ATM. The investigation revealed that some cash had been stolen.
During the course of the investigation, officers located the vehicle used in the burglary near the intersection of Marlene and Rosemead.
The suspect or suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
This incident is currently under active investigation.
