(PEORIA, IL) On Monday, June 15, 2026, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Peoria Police responded to the 1100 block of E. McClure Avenue following a report of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives with the Peoria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID), along with members of the Crime Scene Unit (CSU) and Patrol Division, responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
