Celebrate our heroes in blue
This National Police Week, and every week, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women of the Oswego Police Department, both past and present, who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. Your dedication, sacrifice and commitment to serving and protecting us do not go unnoticed. Thank you for your all that you do!
Move with the Mayor this weekend
Lace-up your sneakers and join us for Move with the Mayor on May 18. Meet Village President Ryan Kauffman at Hudson Crossing Park from 4-5 p.m. for a rejuvenating walk along the Fox River Trail.
RSVP online, by email or call 630-551-2344 to secure your spot. Healthy snacks and water will be provided. Hudson Crossing Park is located at 65 N. Harrison in Oswego.
Summer fun at Venue 1012

Honor those who have fallen while serving our nation by attending the Oswego Memorial Day Parade on May 27 at 10 a.m. Each year the event is organized by American Legion Post 675.
Find your spot on the parade route: Old Traughber to Polk St. to Jackson St. to Jefferson St. crossing Route 34 to Main St., passing the Veterans Memorial to the cemetery for the Memorial Service.
Shred event
Help safeguard your personal information and prevent identity theft by taking advantage of the Oswego Police Department's free shredding event on June 29, organized by the Oswego Police Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (OCPAAA) in partnership with the Rotary Club of Oswego.
Beginning at 9 a.m. at the Oswego Public Works Facility, up to three (3) large boxes full of papers will be accepted per car. The event ends at noon or when the shred trucks are full. The Oswego Public Works Facility is located at 100 Theodore Drive in Oswego. Learn more.
