 DEADLINE EXTENDED: Register Your Community Group or Organization for the 2025 St. Patrick's Day Parade
The Village of Lemont is calling all community organizations and groups to join in on the fun at the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Party on Saturday, March 8.
Registration has been extended to Monday, February 24. Apply via our online form:

The parade begins at 1pm and line up will begin around 12:15 pm. The parade takes place in Lemont Downtown and depending on number of entries, ends around 2:30 pm. There is no fee to participate in the parade.
A confirmation regarding your entry will be emailed to you. Instructions for the parade line up will be emailed the week of March 4.

Spread the Love This February for Lemont Downtown Businesses
 Supporting small businesses doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. When you spread the love this February, we’ll send some love back to you with a $50 Lemont Downtown gift card, usable at over 30 locations in Lemont Downtown, with 100% of the funds going to the business it’s redeemed at.

Presented by a group of residents, and with the support of the Village of Lemont, we are proud to present the “Hometown Heroes Banner Program” to honor current or former residents of Lemont who have served or are currently serving our country in a branch of the military.
Please view the requirements on the informational flyer and the application accessible at, https://www.lemont.il.us/HometownHeroes. Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2025, or until the limit of 48 banners has been reached. The flyer and application can also be picked up at Village Hall, 418 Main Street, M-F from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 LAHS Welcomes 9/11 Exhibit this February
The Lemont Area Historical Society is honored to present America United: The Days After 9/11, a traveling historical exhibit that serves as a powerful reminder of the September 11 attacks. This special event will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, and will feature two beams from the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
- Escort from Mt. Assisi begins at 1:45 PM
- Beams arrive to Lemont Historical Society at 2:00 PM
- Open House from 2:00–5:00 PM
The exhibit will be on display until May 31, 2025 at the Lemont Area Historical Society.
 First Installment Tax Bills Due Tuesday, March 4
The first of two property tax bills due this year was mailed at the end of January and will be due on March 4, 2025. The first installment of 2024 taxes (paid in 2025) is an estimate calculated at 55% of the total taxes paid last year. The final amount due will not be determined until the second installment tax bills are issued in the summer of 2025, according to the Lemont Township Assessor’s Team.
