 It's Time to Renew: Vehicle sticker season is Upon Us!
Renewal notices are being mailed and sales will begin June 1, 2024. The Village of Lemont’s Vehicle Sticker Program is valid from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025. All residents who have vehicles registered with a Village of Lemont address through the Illinois Secretary of State's Office, regardless of where the vehicle is housed, are required to purchase a Village of Lemont vehicle sticker (Ord 49-19). Stickers can be purchased on the Village website or via mail.
New residents should contact the Finance Department at 630-257-1550 for further assistance.
 May is Building Safety Month: Learn about Electric Malfunctions
The month of May is Building Safety Month and the Village of Lemont Building Department is sharing some great safety and building permit information throughout the month.
Did you know that electric malfunctions are one of the leading causes of residential fires in the United States? There are a few simple ways you can help prevent electrical malfunctions in your home. Review these with your children so everyone can keep an eye out for safe electric use!
Don’t forget to bring the latest coloring page to the Building Department at Village Hall for your Junior Code Official Certificate and to be entered to win a Three Stories Books gift card!

 Calling All Cars: Cruise Nights Return to Lemont Downtown Beginning June 5!
We're gearing up for another exciting series of Cruise Nights and our weekly block party in Lemont Downtown hosted by the Village of Lemont. This family-friendly event invites owners to showcase their cars by weekly theme on Wednesdays from 6-9PM. Enjoy food and drinks from local restaurants, bars, and food trucks, games, and special activities from our sponsors and partnership organizations.

One of the best Farmers Markets in the region, The Lemont Farmers Market is back and better than ever with local vendors ready to provide you with fresh food, handcrafted goods, and more! 2024 Great Lakes Quarries Catch & Release Fishing Derby
In collaboration with the Village of Lemont and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, The Forge Charitable Adventures is excited to host a six-month catch-and-release fishing derby at the picturesque Great Lakes Quarries within the Heritage Quarries Recreation Area. This event aims to engage the community in helping to assess the health of key fish populations by species and to evaluate the overall quality of the fishing environment.
The derby begins on June 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. and ends on November 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Registration is open and you can register any time before the end of the tournament. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of the five categories of fish - Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Black or White Crappie and Bluegill.
