Your Input is Needed!
The Village of Lemont is seeking residents' input to our Lemont 2023 Community Survey. The survey is utilized to better serve our residents and provides us with an overview to compare to our past annual community surveys to ensure our standards are being improved upon and met.
Please take the survey through Polco available now through February 26, at https://polco.us/n/res/vote/lemont-il/lemont-2023-community-survey.
If you have not yet signed up to Polco visit, https://polco.us/lemont, to create an account. Select "Create Account" from the left panel. After creating your account, scroll down to the Lemont 2023 Community Survey to take the survey. You will then receive notifications when future surveys are posted.
Polco is committed to a strict privacy policy where they only share aggregated de-identified results. Participant's individual data and votes are never shared with the Village of Lemont.

Have a Convertible?
We are looking for a few owners of convertibles to be utilize for parade events when needed. Specifically, our annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in March, and the Keepataw Day Parade in September.
If you have a convertible and are willing to drive it in a parade, we will add you to our list, should we have a need for extra convertibles. Please complete the signup form below to volunteer your ride.

The Township Officials of Illinois Scholarship is Now Open: Applications Due March 1, 2024
The TOI Scholarship application is now open and available to all graduating high school seniors applying to attending a university or college located in Illinois full-time during the 2024-2025 academic year. Since 1989, the Township Officials of Illinois Scholarship has awarded graduating high school seniors seeking to continue their education at Illinois colleges and universities a total of $375,500.

2024 Lemont Farmers Market
The Lemont Farmers Market is like no other with fresh produce, handcrafted and artisan goods, delicious food from pop-up shops, live music, and fun for the entire family. Visit the market June 11 through October 15 on Tuesdays from 4-7 PM.

Call Me Old Fashioned: Antiques Roadshow Comes to Lemont on Friday, February 2
Dust off your household treasures and make your way to Old Stone Church. In partnership with the Lemont Public Library, the Lemont Area Historical Society will host antique appraiser Rex Newell. Rex will share stories of found treasures and what’s hot in the antique market. The first 40 people who register will be able to bring in an item for appraisal (No firearms, Native American or Asian antiques will be appraised.) $5 entry fee, refreshments will be served.
Live Better, Live Longer in Lemont: Is Lemont a Blue Zone?
What does it mean to live well? Living to 100 years old and beyond requires a surplus of genetic luck and good fortune over all of your days. However, with a few simple adjustments that are accessible to almost everyone, we can all extend our good days.
We're looking into Blue Zones on the Lemont Downtown blog and sharing more insight on how you can live well.
Join the Lemont Township Senior Association for a Valentine's Day Party on February 5
Enjoy bingo, sweet treats, and prizes at the Valentine's Day Party on Monday, February 5, at the Lemont Township Community Center. Tickets are $10 to attend.
Pay in advance by calling (630) 257-2522 or stopping by the Community Center (16300 Alba Street). Tickets will also be available on site the day of the party.
