Wadsworth, IL - The Canadian Pacific Railway will close the railroad crossing on Wadsworth Road, east of the Des Plaines River, to replace the crossing. The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Monday, August 17. The road will reopen to traffic by late afternoon on Friday, August 21.
Detour Route: US Route 41 (Skokie Highway) to IL 173 (Rosecrans Road) to Kilbourne Road. Local traffic will be allowed from US Route 41 to the railroad crossing and from Kilbourne Road to the crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
