Public Meeting for Lake Cook Path
The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is ready to show the preferred alternative for the Lake Cook Path project. Join us at a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at the West Ridge Center, 636 Ridge Road, Highland Park.
The project aims to connect the bike path gap along Lake Cook Road between the Skokie Valley Path and the North Branch Trail at Turnbull Woods Court. Connecting these two paths would provide local users access to many key destinations like the Chicago Botanic Garden, Green Bay Road Trail, Robert McClory Path, Ravinia, Lake Michigan and the Metra station.
