Protege Tus Finanzas en una Emergencia

Este taller te ayudará a aprender formas sencillas para proteger tu dinero y prepararte para emergencias. Hablaremos sobre cómo crear un fondo de emergencia, qué hacer si no puedes acceder a tu cuenta bancaria, y cómo agregar a alguien de confianza para que te ayude a manejar tu dinero si es necesario.

Career Transition for Military Veterans

The Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) pilot program is an opportunity for veterans, veterans currently serving in the National Guard and Reserve, and their spouses to take control of their career through workshops to help meet their employment goals. OBTT provides employment preparation, education and opportunities that allow attendees to maximize their career potential.

Lake County Workforce Development qualifies individuals for WIOA grant funding for training and employment assistance, empowering job seekers to pursue training in high-demand, high-wage fields such as healthcare. This funding aims to equip unemployed and underemployed individuals with essential skills and industry credentials. By fostering a commitment to lifelong learning, professional development, and compassionate patient care, Healthcare Career Pathways seek to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare workers.

CEJA Waukegan Workforce Hub

Illinois is expanding its clean energy workforce! You can join a training program to begin a career in clean energy or get support to grow your clean energy business. Participation in CEJA makes a participant an “Equity Eligible Person”, which can make them highly sought after by some clean energy companies. These programs are part of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA). The CEJA Workforce Programs are funded by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) through the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act.
