Yesterday, a notification about a planned water shutoff in the Vernon Hills Water System was accidentally sent to all Lake County Public Works customers.
Here’s what you need to know:

Only nine customers in the Vernon Hills Water System who reside near 331 Albert Drive in Vernon Hills were affected.

The shutoff occurred today (August 14), between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., for a fire hydrant replacement.

No other customers were impacted. If you do not live near 331 Albert Drive, Vernon Hills, your water service was not interrupted.
