The Lake County Division of Transportation will begin construction on a project to improve the Robert McClory Bike Path starting next week. This project will cover 12.3 miles of path to improve safety, accessibility and the overall experience for all users, whether they're biking, walking or running.
The work involves paving gravel sections with asphalt, resurfacing existing asphalt, concrete and drainage repairs and ADA accessibility upgrades. Work will take place on the path from Russell Road to Broadway Avenue and Old Elm Road to Vine Avenue.
Construction will begin between Glen Flora Avenue and Blanchard Road and from 33rd Street to Salem Boulevard. Please be aware that temporary path closures and detour routes will be in place throughout construction. Follow posted signs for your safety.
