April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election
Consolidated Election Day is right around the corner on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and the Lake County Clerk’s Office is dedicated to helping every eligible voter be prepared to participate. Whether you're a seasoned voter or casting your ballot for the first time, follow these steps to ensure a smooth voting experience:
-
Confirm Your Voter Registration: Ensure your voter registration is up to date before heading to the polls. Visit LakeVoterPower.info to verify your status and make sure everything is correct.
-
Locate Your Preferred Polling Place: Know where you’ll be voting! Your preferred polling location can be easily found on Lake Voter Power, or you can find the nearest sites to you at our Election Day Polling Places tool. Remember, Lake County has transitioned to a vote center model for Election Day voting. Under this model, Lake County voters are still assigned a preferred Election Day voting site but are no longer restricted to voting at that location. Instead, they can cast their ballot at any of the fully equipped vote centers located throughout Lake County, regardless of their residential address.
-
Study Your Sample Ballot: Prepare ahead by reviewing a sample ballot. Getting familiar with the candidates and ballot measures will help you make confident and informed decisions when you vote.
-
Review Your Vote Plan: Organize your schedule now to ensure you have time to vote on April 1st. Consider any work, school, or personal commitments and leave ample time for voting. Early voting is still an option through Monday, March 31st. Click here for a complete list of locations and hours.
-
Encourage Participation: Voting is a vital part of our democracy—remind your friends, family, and neighbors to vote, too! Spread the word about the importance of making your voice heard in this election. Make sure you're sharing information from trusted sources such as state and local election offices.
The Lake County Clerk’s Office is here to support you in casting your vote. If you need any assistance or have questions about the election process, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Let's ensure a strong voter turnout on April 1, 2025! Your vote is your voice—make it count!
