Ela at Long Grove Road Project is Complete
The intersection improvement at Ela and Long Grove Road is complete. New traffic signals are active, and work zone speed limits have been lifted.
The project added a southbound left-turn lane on Ela Road and right and left-turn lanes on Long Grove Road. A shared-use path now connects the area to the Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve, and the intersection includes five-foot-wide bike lanes.
While the project is complete, message boards will remain in place over the next few weeks to inform travelers of the new signals.
