November 2024

November 5, 2024 General Election Recap

2

Thank you to everyone that voted in this past 2024 General Election! We are especially thrilled to report that we set a new record for early voting this year, with 131,925 ballots cast ahead of Election Day compared to 124,215 in 2020. This achievement reflects the commitment of our voters to actively engage in the electoral process and take advantage of the accessible and convenient early voting options available.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to our team of election judges, poll workers, and staff who worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and efficient voting experience for all. Their hard work and dedication to upholding the democratic process are invaluable.

To our voters: thank you for showing up, participating, and contributing to the strength of our democracy. Your engagement is what makes Lake County thrive.

Unofficial results have already begun posting to our Election Results portal and will continue to be updated as provisional and late arriving vote-by-mail ballots are counted. Head over to bit.ly/LC-ERP for additional information on election results.

Remember, results remain unofficial until certified on November 22, 2024 at 3 PM by County Clerk Anthony Vega.
