The manufacturing industry needs you! Learn about training options in welding, CNC programming and more that will help set you on a career path in advanced manufacturing. Speakers will address training available through College of Lake County, Symbol Training Institute, and First Institute. Whether you’re starting or changing your career, this workshop will provide you with valuable insights.

Workforce Solutions Help IT
Professional to Advance

When Marianne was laid off from a position as a Business Analyst, she wanted to strengthen her skill set with additional training.  With the guidance of a Workforce Development Career Specialist, she reviewed training options and decided to train at IT Expert Systems.  She also participated in a paid work experience where she guided teams on topics including business analysis, software quality assurance, data analytics, and cloud computing.  She landed a job as a Software QA Test Engineer in August 2024.
