Riverwoods Road and Duffy Lane "3R" Project
The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is planning to improve Riverwoods Road and Duffy Lane in southeastern Lake County. We are calling this a "3R" project because our goal is to resurface, restore, and rehabilitate these roads in the coming years!
The project area is Riverwoods Road from Deerfield Road to IL 22 (Half Day Road), and Duffy Lane from Riverwoods Road to west of the I-94 bridge. The project is expected to include a fresh new asphalt surface, the evaluation of wider road shoulders, improved roadway drainage, and enhanced non-motorized travel opportunities that would include a new path along Duffy Lane.
LCDOT created a virtual forum for you to share your ideas and questions on this project through July 12, 2024. Use the interactive comment map to provide an exact location of your input. All input submitted through the website goes directly to the project study team.
