Public Meeting for Lake Cook Road Path
The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is hosting a public meeting from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 at the Bernard Weinger JCC, 300 Revere Drive, Northbrook for the Lake Cook Road Path. The purpose of the meeting is to share details of the alternatives that have been advanced from the concept study and receive public feedback. Everyone is invited to attend!
The project aims to connect the bike path gap along Lake Cook Road between the Skokie Valley Path and North Branch Trail at Turnbull Woods Court. Connecting these two paths would provide local users access to many key destinations like the Chicago Botanic Garden, Green Bay Road Trail, Robert McClory Path, Ravinia, Lake Michigan and the Metra station.
About the Meeting
Attendees will be able to see firsthand the alternatives carried forward for this project. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format, so you may attend any time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Exhibits will be on display and project team members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

LCDOT encourages the public to provide feedback on the project. Written comments and questions can be submitted during the meeting. Those unable to attend will be able to submit comments online. An online feedback form will be posted on the project website after the meeting.
