Grayslake, IL - The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) has closed Wilson Road to through traffic from IL 120 to IL 60 due to flooding. Rainfall over the past several weeks has led to rising water in the surrounding area. The water has now overtopped the pavement, which could create unsafe driving conditions. As a precaution, the road will remain closed until the water levels have receded.
LCDOT has set up a camera, that is accessible to the public on Lake County PASSAGE, to monitor the conditions on Wilson Road in the coming days. A detour route is in place.
