Revive Lake County is a 3-week program providing returning citizens with the skills needed to ensure success in the labor force!

Career Transition for Military Veterans

The Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) pilot program is an opportunity for veterans, veterans currently serving in the National Guard and Reserve, and their spouses to take control of their career through workshops to help meet their employment goals. OBTT provides employment preparation, education and opportunities that allow attendees to maximize their career potential.

On the Road to Success 

Lake County Workforce Development worked with hundreds of individuals who lost employment due to the pandemic. Specialized grants from the U.S. Department of Labor enabled Workforce Development to assist impacted workers.  As a laid-off worker,  Terron used this grant opportunity to complete CDL training.  He is thrilled with his new job as a truck driver for Pepsi.
