Construction on our Winchester Road project is looking good!
The west section between IL 83 and US 45 is 99 percent complete - only minor signal work and road striping remains.
The east section between Butterfield Road and IL 21 is trending towards completion before the winter weather stoppage. The final concrete and paving work is in progress and is expected to be completed soon. Please continue to watch for workers and trucks entering and leaving the job sites, and possible lane closures.
LCDOT will return next spring to construct the new multi-use path on Winchester Road between IL 21 and the Libertyville Bike Path that extends from Butler Lake.
