The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that a culvert replacement project on IL 60 at Arden Lane in Round Lake will begin, weather permitting, the week of July 24.
The project will require closing IL 60 from Belvidere Road (IL 120) to Peterson Road.
A detour will direct motorists to Belvidere, Alleghany and Peterson roads. Access to residences
and businesses will be maintained throughout construction. The work is expected to be completed in October.
