Antioch, IL- The Canadian National Railway has informed the Lake County Division of Transportation it will close the railroad crossing on North Avenue for necessary track repairs. The closure of the crossing will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 26. North Avenue will reopen to through traffic during the late afternoon of Wednesday, June 29, weather permitting.
DETOUR ROUTE: IL 83, to IL 173, to Deep Lake Road. Local traffic will be allowed from IL 83 to the railroad crossing and from Deep Lake Road west to the railroad crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
