Set the PACE by Going Green in Lake County!
Commercial property owners are invited to an informational webinar to learn about an innovative program that can help local businesses make energy-efficient improvements. The webinar will take place on August 16 at 11 a.m.
This webinar is recommended for commercial property owners that are interested in pursuing energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, electrical vehicle charging and resiliency projects for their commercial buildings.Â
The webinar will cover the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program, often referred to as C-PACE, which provides long-term financing to private building owners for all types of energy-efficient projects.Â
C-PACE allows property owners to obtain 100 percent financing from private capital providers for eligible improvements such as HVAC, lighting and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and other improvements in both existing buildings and new construction projects. The financing is currently available in 37 states, including the District of Columbia, and can stimulate local economies by funding the upfront capital for PACE projects that may lower operating costs, generate clean energy, instill resiliency and promote water use conservation in commercial properties.Â
