Wondering where to find election results? Look no further! We are pleased to announce that all Election Day voter results have been populated in our Election Results Portal!
Per Illinois election law, election results are not final until 14 days after Election Day. There may be votes that need to be counted from verified provisional ballots and late-arriving vote-by-mail ballots postmarked no later than Election Day sent by county residents, military members, or overseas citizens. Final Consolidated Election results can be found via the portal on April 18, 2023.

Become an Election Judge and serve Lake County!
To be an Election Judge, students must meet the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be currently enrolled in a Lake County public or private high school

Provide written permission from a parent or guardian and principal
- Have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Satisfactorily complete the election judge training
- Meet all other qualifications of an election judge.

Are you registered to vote?
If you are 18 years old**, it's time for you to become a Lake County registered voter! There are several ways to register including in-person, online, or by mail. For more information regarding voter registration, visit here.
** 17-year-old residents may register and vote in primaries if their 18th birthday occurs on or before the date of the next general or consolidated election
Of the 48,985 Vote-by-Mail ballots requested and issued, 21,909** have been returned in "good" status to the Lake County Clerk's Office for April's Consolidate Election! Vote-by-Mail is something we are proud to offer as an accessible and reliable voting option for many in our community! As a reminder, Voting by mail is available only to registered voters, including active U.S. military, military dependents, and citizens residing overseas. Registered voters may apply for Permanent Vote-By-Mail Status and automatically receive a ballot in all subsequent elections. A voter remains in a permanent status until the voter requests to be removed, the voter provides notice to our office of a change in registration outside of Lake County or our office receives confirmation that the voter has registered to vote in another county.
