Upcoming County Workshops for Vendors and Businesses
Lake County is committed to working with the County’s diverse and inclusive vendor community. This not only gives us a larger group of potential suppliers and options, but it also makes our supply chains stronger and more reliable. And it benefits Lake County from an overall economic standpoint and increases opportunities for disadvantaged businesses.
We understand that doing business with government can sometimes be confusing and overwhelming, so we hosted a recent webinar, Working with Lake County is as Easy as 1, 2, 3 , to help explain the process and make it more user-friendly. The recording of the webinar can be found on our website.
In addition to the webinar, workshops have been scheduled to provide useful information on navigating the procurement process with Lake County as well as an interactive discussion on possible challenges along the way. Lake County Purchasing staff will be onsite to show you how to find out about current opportunities, respond to public procurement notices, and share various public procurement regulations and requirements. Resources outside of Lake County that can offer technical assistance will also be provided.
Lake County encourages minority businesses to participate in both our direct procurements or as potential sub-contracting partners.
