New Public Works App to Report Service Issues
Lake County Public Works has a new app, CitizenVUE, available for residents to engage and report public works issues on your mobile device. If you spot a concern—such as a watermain break, leaking hydrant, water pressure problems, or sewer backups—simply submit a service request for water or sewer problems right from your phone. You can even submit comments, photos and documents to provide additional details on the issue.
Residents can only report an issue that falls within Lake County Public Work's jurisdiction. A message will appear if the address is invalid. Your assistance through the CitizenVUE app helps us maintain the safety of our public works system.
The CitizenVUE app is available now for free download via Windows, Apple and GooglePlay stores. Public Works issues can also still be reported at pwreports@lakecountyil.gov or at 847-377-7500.
