NEW Online Payment Platform for Lake County Public Works Customers
Today, Lake County Public Works launched a new online payment platform that makes it easier for customers to view and pay their water and sewer bills.
The new online platform, available at waterbill.lakecountyil.gov, offers a user-friendly service and convenient features for customers to manage their account from anywhere, 24/7. Customers are encouraged to create an account and register in the new platform. When registering, customers will need to provide their customer and account numbers as they appear on their bill.
Highlights of the New Platform Include:
- Receive bills electronically
- Make payments anywhere you have internet access
- Easily set up autopay
- Pay by text message
- Go paperless to reduce paper waste
"We are excited to provide a new platform that simplifies the bill-pay process for our customers and staff," said Austin McFarlane, Interim Director for Lake County Public Works. "Customers can now view and pay their water and sewer bills online in one place, plus we are now accepting all major credit cards, checks, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Paypal."
Customers currently enrolled in autopay with Lake County Public Works will automatically transfer to the new platform, but are still encouraged to register at waterbill.lakecountyil.gov so they can access their account information at anytime.
Lake County Public Works will continue to offer a variety of bill payment options in addition to the new online platform including mail, drop off, and over the phone. For more information, visit Lake County Public Work's website.
