The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that repairs to the Canadian National Railroad crossing on Half Day Road (IL 22), east of Prairie Road in Buffalo Grove, will require a full closure starting, weather permitting, at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22.
A detour will direct motorists to Prairie Road, Aptakisic Road and Milwaukee Avenue (US
45/IL 21). The work is expected to be complete by 7 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28.
