Lake Zurich, IL- The Canadian National Railroad has informed the Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) that it will be closing the railroad crossing on Cuba Road for scheduled repairs. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 18 and is scheduled to reopen the evening of Friday, July 22.
Detour Route: IL Route 59 to IL Route 22 to US Route 12 to Ela Road. Local traffic will be allowed on Cuba Road from IL Route 59 to the crossing and from the crossing to Ela Road. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
