Lake Zurich, IL- The Canadian National Railroad has informed the Lake County Division of Transportation that it will be closing the railroad crossing on Ela Road for scheduled repairs. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 11 and is scheduled to reopen the evening of Friday, July 15.
Detour Route: US Route 12, to IL Route 22, to IL Route 59 to Cuba Road. Local traffic will be allowed on Ela Road from US Route 12 to the railroad crossing and from Cuba Road to the railroad crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
